MediaShout for Mac is designed as a multiple-screen application to provide both a professional presentation appearance and flexible, real-time editing capabilities.

User Workspace

A simple three-pane workspace for building, editing and delivering your presentations. This workspace is comprised of Decks, the Script and Viewers, with additional built-in playback controls and panic buttons.

Presentation Controls

MediaShoutʼs Control Display includes playback controls, panic buttons, instant text and a countdown clock for real-time presentation control.

Decks

Simple tools for building and presenting media. Similar to the individual components of a home theater system, each deck is created to play a specific type of media. Double- click any media to play it directly to the screen. Decks can also be used to build MediaShout presentations. Drag-and-drop a piece of media to to build your presentation, or make quick edits by dropping media onto an existing cue.

Videos / Media

Play video files as stand-alone video cues or as cue backgrounds. Select in- and out- points as well as frame-specific thumbnails for customized playback. Quick access to most types media on your computer or network, including files, websites and iLife libraries like iTunes and iPhoto.

Internet

Quick access to viewing live Internet sites on-screen without the cluttered browser interface. Preview a web page in the deck and play directly to the screen, or add it to your presentation.

Audio

Quick access to audio files, including your iTunes library and playlists. Browse and play audio independently from your Script using Manual, Auto, Loop and Shuffle playback modes, or add Sound Cues and soundtracks to your presentation.

Bibles

Quick access to over 50 Bible translations. Use the Passage Picker, key in a specific reference or use Text Search to search Scriptures by keywords or phrases. If you need to extend the passage, simply click the up or down Extension Arrow to add previous or next verses. Play from the Bible Deck or drag-and-drop to the Script. Bible, Song and Text Decks also allow you to select pre-designed templates in order to quickly format cues to your favorite presets.

Songs

Quick access to your entire song library. Search for songs by Title, Author or Lyrics and play immediately to the screen or drag-and-drop to your presentation. The Song Deck includes an action menu, with options to add songs (from scratch, SongSelect and other formats), Export, Edit, Print and manage customized Song Groups. Song, Bible and Text Decks also allow you to select pre-designed templates in order to quickly format cues to your favorite presets. NOTE: MediaShout for Mac provides import/export functionality for MediaShout Song Text files compatible with our PC products.

Lyrics Cues

MediaShout includes a lyric management system specially designed for ministries. Because songs need to be both added and accessed easily, weʼve designed tools to provide the easiest lyric importing, editing and display. Add lyrics from SongSelect, from text files or create your own from scratch using our New Song Wizard. Once added to the song library, play them to the screen directly from the Songs Deck or drag-and-drop to your Script. Edit font & layout for the entire song at once or word-by-word, and set a single background for the entire song or stanza-by-stanza.

Text

Quick access to your own custom text. Drag-and-drop margins and use most standard formatting tools for simple edits, or select a Template to recall your favorite layouts. Play text from the Text Deck or drag to the Script as a part of your presentation.

Countdown Clocks

Play keyed countdown clocks to your audience. Perfect for letting your audience know how much time is left until your event starts.
